1. NB Safety Bed System is a bed-exit monitoring system for accute or long-term care environments
2. NB Safety Bed System uses a high-tech sensor that is based on sensing vital signs and very small chages in weight.
   
3. When a patient or an elderly person falls from the bed, the sensor will detect their absence from the person.
4. If the system judges the absence is a fall or an accident, it will send wireless signal to the monitoring program, notifying an alert to the nurse on duty.

How does the NB Safety Bed System work?

• The system uses an ultra-thin mattress sensor that can be installed below the mattress.
  
• The sensor operation is based on detecting vital life signs, heart rate and respiration not the person’s weight.
  
• When a person leaves or falls from the bed, an absence signal is sent to the monitor at the nursing station through our high-tech wireless technology such as ZigBee, WLAN, or CDMA.
  
• If the bed absence time surpasses the set alert delay time, the monitoring system will alarm the nurse on duty which bed is missing which patient.
  
• NB Safety Bed System can be integrated with several different kinds of alarming method
  (SMS, Phone, and all etc)
  
• Operation is based on vital life signs detection and not on person weight
  
• Very Durable -approximately 5 years life
  
• 2 or 1 year limited warranty depending on mattress and bed type
